From The Mystery of God – God’s Wakeup Call

From The Mystery of God

Who is God?

There is a mystery surrounding the existence of God. That mystery began when man decided his own logic was better than God’s. Man focused only on the discoveries of science and chose to believe only what could be measured, charted, and scientifically proven. But what is a known fact today can change tomorrow when new discoveries are made. So where, then, is the absolute truth?

When you delve into the unknown and encounter something brand new, does that discovery force you to change your previous conclusions? How can you promise to believe only what you see when you don’t know from one second to the next what new invention or knowledge might be announced?

Think about the poetry of life and the music of emotion. Think about discoveries made for the good of humankind and the evolution of thought. Think about the processes of nature and its perfect structure and organization. Can you fully conceive of your own body? What is the mystery of God? Can you stop time or measure the true speed of existence? Can you measure a single moment or reduce your beginnings to scientific logic? Can you comprehend eternity and the vast magnitude of the universe?

What do people mean when they speak of the peace and calm of the Holy Spirit? What do they know when the physical weight of sin has been lifted from their shoulders through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ? Why do people pray to God — and are their prayers answered? Why are so many people convinced that God exists?

If you are so sure you have all the answers about this world, haven’t you had enough time to figure it out? What is the mystery of God?

There is no mystery — at least not in the way some would make it seem. It is my prayer that these stories will challenge you to think about the different aspects of your life.

You can find links to these stories in the description. I’m also a watercolor artist, and after my miracle I felt compelled to include Jesus Christ in my paintings. That’s why I created HiltonArtist.com, where you can download any of these watercolors for your personal use — for free.
