Come to God

From God’s Wakeup Call

There was a short time upon the earth when God and mankind lived together in peace. God’s people loved Him and worshiped Him. Then the devil brought doubt, greed, and evil to this world. He wanted God’s children to worship him instead. He enticed them with gold and glitter, lulled them into complacency, and punished them for their faith in God. He whispered that the blame belonged to God rather than to himself, then stood back and laughed at their reluctance to remain true to their Deliverer.

He who does not understand is truly lost. God’s children have hardened their hearts and embraced the immorality and unbelief that now exist upon the earth. Why do you do this when God can give you so much? Why do you cast aside God’s gifts as if they were of no value? He is real. He exists. Why cheat yourselves out of God’s love and the salvation offered through His Son, Jesus Christ?

Come to God in prayer and describe your needs. Come to God in worship, for He is your Lord and you are His child. Come to God through His Son, Jesus Christ, who suffered so much to free you from your sins if you will repent.
