The Star Of God

The Star of God
A short story by Nancy Hilton

There was a star

Beautiful and shines clear in the line of sight
Lighting the path of planets and lighting the stage of existence of new worlds

There was a star
Famous in all her beauty
Wondrous in her charms and powers
Dynamic and talented

There was a star
Brighter than the eyes could see
More distant than the touch of life
More complex in structure
More brilliant in illumination

Just a star
A brightness focused upon the face of the earth
An enchanting dance
A noble quest
So simple

There is a star
A strong belief
A hero
A nurturer
A lover
A healer

GOD
